Ingredients

• 2 oz Bourbon or Rye whiskey
• 1 tsp Demerara syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Method

1. Add the syrup and bitters to a mixing glass, then the whiskey.
2. Fill with ice and stir until well chilled.
3. Strain over one large cube in a rocks glass.
4. Express an orange peel over the surface and drop it in.
